Centaur opening New York office

Centaur Fund Services is expanding in to the US with a new office in New York, to be headed by newly-appointed head of business development for America, Bryan McCooey.

The move comes in response to demand for Centaur’s fund administration services in the US, which has grown steadily since it expanded services six months ago.

“We are creating a US foothold to manage, promote and deliver on the increasing demand for our administration services,” said McCooey.

“We are experiencing a remarkable number of fund managers in the States who are looking to build a collaborative relationship with an administrator like Centaur, whose core principles are accountability and transparency.”

Previously, McCooey has held senior roles in administration firms, and he joins Centaur in its fifth anniversary year.

He said: “I'm delighted to be joining Centaur at this exciting stage in the company’s growth and look forward to driving its business strategy while leading its US expansion from New York.”

Ronan Daly, founding partner of Centaur Fund Services, added: “Since our inception we have experienced substantial growth year on year.”

“This expansion into the US affords us a terrific opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to our US clients and their investors.”
